What is an audio guestbook?
An audio guestbook is a vintage style phone that lets your guests leave voice messages during your event. Instead of signing a book, they pick up the phone, hear your greeting, and record a personal message.
How does the phone work?
It’s very simple! Your guests pick up the receiver, hear your pre-recorded greeting, and leave a message after the beep.
Once they hang up, the message is automatically saved.
Do I need Wi-Fi or electricity?
Nope! The phone is completely self-contained and battery-powered, so it works anywhere — indoors or outdoors (as long as it’s kept safe from rain, dust, and direct sunlight).
BUT the lights will need a powerpoint, we provide everything else.
Can I record my own greeting?
Yes! You record a personal greeting before your delivery, (we’ll guide you through it!) we load it, so it's all ready once you get it.
What are the delivery fees?
Delivery and collection in Johannesburg and Pretoria starts from R200, depending on location. If your delivery address falls outside these areas, we can still accommodate your booking and will provide a delivery quote based on your location.
What do I receive after my event?
Your original and enhanced recordings will be sent digitally within 5 business days after your event. We also keep a complimentary 2-year backup in case you need a replacement.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A R500 refundable security/breakage deposit is required to secure your booking and event date. It is refunded within 5 business days after your event, provided all items are returned undamaged and in good working condition. If any rented item is damaged or broken, the full R500 deposit will be forfeited.
